TOAK The thread of all knowledge VII
Good eavning gents. Party finished. Food was excellent but room was stuffy.
Always been fascinated with war stories but also knowing that it is a personal thing and the one telling the story has a much deeper emotional connection to it. I regret never sitting down with a long time family friend who was a medic on D day who landed on Normandy who was willing to tell me about it. He grabbed a camera man and took him through the invasion. Time magazine bugged him for years for the pics. He died and they got the pics. I never got to sit down with him. I was 19. RIP Bill Chames

Reading up on the "assault" law once I install the mag lock it I am good to go as far as the pistol grip and muzzle compensator! So glad I don't have to have that ugly but stock on it!

To not be an assault rifle the law states it can not have a pistol grip or adjustable. But with the mag lock I can get what I want. I'm not sure yet but I like the mil spec one that holds an extra mag. All the furniture will be OD green. I like the Magpul ones.

Wow, thought Canada has ridiculous laws.
Once I install the mag lock reloading will be a disassembly action which takes it out of the no no zone! Stupid stuff. Also if I call the compensator a flash suppressor it is a violation but the military Cal's them a compensator which is legal.

Yes. That's the one. If I install that it is no longer considered an assault weapon. All new assault weapon changes no longer apply. Worth every bit of $58!
