Our contractor said he would buy us an electronic door lock for the IT closet/gun safe room under the stairs because that is how he has his basement set up. It makes some sense in that there is not a key laying around for a regular lock that a kid, or kids friend, can find and decide to investigate. He is a really nice guy. We gave him a big ham and pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving because he has been so good. He doesn't seem to be out just for a paycheck...he really gives a rip!
