Back from putting up blinds at SIL's house. We got them for her as a BDay gift. Beth or her Mom measured the width of the window, and I took the blinds to get them cut so they would fit. Mounted the hardware, hung the blinds and they fit! Well..they fit the width...but they were about 11" short of covering the height of the window. Guess what happens once you have Holmes Depot cut blinds? Mmm hmm...you cannot exchange them. So we bought her sister another pair of blinds since it was not her fault that the length was not checked. Got the same brand so I could at least take advantage of my toils with the mounting hardware and the first set of new, longer blinds fit right in...until they fell out and to the ground as I was trying to put the valance on. finally got both sets installed, then put the handrail (Bannister?) reattached to the wall and GTFO of there. Back at the house trying to relax.
