Basically its the shirt of a lumberjack. They were known as the Rough Riders (folded), but we had two of them teams (Saskatchewan Rough Riders) then the Renegades (folded) and now the Red Blacks. Or also known as the "Noir Rouge" if you're from Queerbec.

Best I could come up with is it's a spider, funny name for a football team though if that's it.

Its a football teams name. So far from what I know, it doesn't offend anyone.

Hard to do that now days, seems somebody offended no matter what.
