I have spokes and tubes as well. Makes using a sealant even more critical since it is hella difficult to patch a tube on the side of the road.

I tend to stockpile ****, hoarding maybe..
So my maybe last post is a PSA.
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT cook and eat dry goods containing fruit, namely muffins, that have a best if used before date on or before 2007. And DO NOT fall into the trap of thinking they have to taste better than they smell. And enough squeeze butter will not fix everything.

Dammit man! That doesn't sound good at all!

Kind of a murky yellow with bits of green and blue scattered here and there?

My last November ride was at night, mixed sleet and a hint of snow, temp a little south of 32. This morning I was down to about 20 tissues clearing the snot, and it feels like the head pressure is still a few psi, hard on the ears.

Couple days after that ride I probably shouldn't have tried, the salt went down, so much there's still dry chunks on my road. Liquid's bad enough, but the dry crystals pit windshields and paint, and I'd guess they wouldn't feel good thrown in your face by cars. After things dry and the cars crush the salt to powder, for several days cars have a cloud of that stuff following them, would hate to breathe it with the chemicals they put in it - I know salt ain't naturally blue. And that's why I don't bother getting a $500 winter rat bike, still wouldn't use it much. But last winter, things were a bit different, few saltless days when it snowed and I got out for a bit before the salt trucks. Winter would be way more enjoyable here without the salt.

Grandson took this pic from the sidecar last winter, he'd never done corner drifting and donuts before, just loved it.
