I ordered a sound bar with that TV from Best Buy. It is for the basement. We'll have everything ready, I think...I hope, when it is completed.

The drywall guys came by today to sand the mud. I want to say "Poor guys" but they prolly make a boat load of money by maximizing the hours they are available.

 

Did Pops go down there and say: "Hey, where's my bedroom?"

 

Heading to American Oak to buy a recliner. Also grouting the wall tomorrow.

 

I have a Dr. appointment at 8:00 A.M. tomorrow. If you guys don't hear from me for a while, you'll know it wasn't good. Unfortunately I have to travel through the area of the biggest mall in the area to get to the appt.

 

Greg, he did joke about where he planned to put his bed. I told him he could move in but he'd be the in house chef. And we would expect those yummy cookies quite often. In just 4 days the families (In-laws and us) ate 7 dozen of those PB chip, chocolate chip cookies

 

Must have been " special" cookies....

Pop can bake, cook and BBQ. So it is no surprise that those cookies went so fast. I remember when I was a kid he would get home from the base in Long Beach before Mom got home from the bank most evenings, and he would cook as often as us kids. For a white guy, he makes some damn fine red chili.
