I wonder what Jamaca is like now? When I was there, there was so much of that street begging that it did not make it very enjoyable.

Mike, the drywall is hung. Now they have to tape and mud it...etc. We are getting close. We'll be picking cabinets and fixtures soon. I will leave most of that to Beth. She has certain wants in that area. I would be fine with matching what is upstairs as close as possible, with the exception of the tile, which we already found some that we like.

Not really a kitchen...maybe a kitchenette? It will have a small sink, microwave, full size fridge and counters with cabinets. Just enough to make popcorn and have cold drinks.
Nice. At least you won't have to run 220V for a stove. Are you doing a bathroom as well?
