On the addition that we had put on our place that concrete board was used. I haven't had to put a nail in it yet, but was told to pre-drill it if I do.

The part facing the camera is the old house that we were having fit dealing with. The part stickup above that is a great-room and bedrooms that were built on.

That's what we have here. About the only thing that I can find to match my redwood siding. Will use that stuff on my addition.
