I am ready to be shot down in flames over this.

Thanks Greg. I wasn't sure if that was the case on the '03 or not.

I would still inspect those shoes regularly though!

No flames, but the OE was a **** setup and if I planned to keep my bike for a long time I would probably do it anyway sooner rather than later.

Here's a vid on inspecting cam chain tensioners. Softy, dyna but still applies.

The video gets to the part he removes cam cover and stops, am I missing part of it or is there another video?

Trying to come up with a list of what to look at/replace this winter.

I am doing better Tracy when I do what I am supposed to do. Seems that when I am non-compliant and try and do too much stuff is when it hurts the most. I am encouraged that I have broken the code on sleep now which seems to help ALOT! I keep doing my exercises.

I am super excited...almost to the point of wanting to also do the chain tensioner and compensator while we are in there, but gotta watch the $$$
A new compensating sprocket comes with the DD6. It's a 28 tooth, that's the cool part of the DD6 we don't overdrive the transmission we overdrive the primary. We set all the ratios high so when you install the 28 tooth it brings 1-5 back to near stock and 6th will be the equivalent of a .86:1 overdrive.

It's a more efficient then the standard overdrive.
Standard over drive is 93% efficient
DD6 is 99% efficient

Morning woods.
