TOAK The thread of all knowledge VII
We'll see how it goes. When he and I get together we can get rather silly. I know that's probably hard to believe but it's true

That made me think of Friday nite. Daughter took me to a nice restaurant that offered free meals for vets and active military that day. Asked the waitress if she wanted to see my DD214 and she said if I even knew what that was, it was good enough for her, not common knowledge any more. In my younger days, would get asked for it to get a job, lot of places wouldn't hire someone that could get drafted any time. College students had a similar attitude then, too, maybe even worse. With a little fear thrown in for the guys (the draft, if you didn't make the grades). Fear can be good... A lot of young people these days don't know what an attitude adjustment they may be getting the way the world is going.
Afternoon fellers.
Was out in the yard a while ago and happened to look up to see some idiot in blaze orange walking across the field back of the house. Seriously??
I went out to let him know the error of his ways in a fairly polite manner. He apologized and said he got turned around and didn't know where he was. I pointed him in the right direction and resisted the urge to put my boot in his *** to help him on his way.
Idiots in orange ruin hunting for so many people.
I always miss the good stuff

Although I do have signs up at the farm, I don't have any at the home place Al.
I haven't really had any issues. Not that signs do a single thing to discourage a lot of folks..
It's like they figger that because it's deer season, they can just ignore them anyway.
