Bummer that you have to spend your week doing a home project but sure beats paying to have it done.

 

Waiting on a bead strip between the marble and subway tile. Lighting is bad. This will be 4' up the wall.

It's stressful but the wire and I enjoy doing these little projects. This one will cost about a grand.

 

Was that all lath and plaster?

 

The first time we did the bathroom in 2006 we went with a 40's style decor. It needed a bit of updating and a better quality of workmanship.

 

1946. Barely made it into the sheetrock age. I found 2 bundles of lath in the basement though.

 

This area must have been redwood rich because most of the house is redwood. The ship lap and 2x4's are mostly redwood.

 

Looks like a tight space. Do you even fit in there?
