Hanging in there. Got a bunch of stuff to take care of with my dad's assets. He refused to complete a living will so everything is going into probate. He split with his wife two years ago but never filed for separation or divorce so it will be messy.

 

If you guys don't have a living will or trust set up do it now. That's one big lesson I've learned from this. I was able to get his truck transferred to me at the last minute but he has between 1 and 1.5 million sitting in retirement accounts and life insurance that may go to the ex because he didn't plan for anything.

 

And now I'm stuck with maxed out credit cards I used to float him for his healthcare I have no way of paying for. Ran out of leave 6 weeks ago and the whole thing is screwed. I'd go for a ride to decompress but I'm pretty sure I need to send my bottom end out to get the crank done.

 

I'm done bitching now lol.
