The reason he was let go here was his drinking problem. Hope he got it under control.

I've heard nothing on it, I mean I knew he had a problem in Denver, but the Lions coaches are tight lipped about stuff like that.If you ask coach Caldwell about a player with a crack addiction or a broken arm he will say "check the injury report". If you ask him about a broken fingernail on Matthew Stafford he'll say "Check the injury report when it's released.

So the fact that I've heard nothing about his drinking, I'm taking as a good thing.
