TOAK The thread of all knowledge VII

I will be watching tonight for the entertainment aspect. It is not as if anyone's opinions has been changed by a debate performance. At least not ina way significant enough to change an elections outcome. Although, if Hillary has a total melt down it could mean more people stay home instead of voting for her. The same is true if Trump says something especially moronic and isolates some voters and they stay home. This is really an election with no one going to the other side in a Dem-to-Rep way, or vice versa. It is a vote-or-don't-vote scenario

I do have a friend who is a registered Democrat that was wearing a Trump hat this morning, so maybe there's still hope.
I was in a mall the other day and a fellow was registering folks to vote. He asked if I was registered and I told him yes. and that I was a registered republican.
When he asked why I was a member of the republican party I told him that I felt I had much more in common with the principals of the party and that my father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great-grandfather were all republicans as well.
He asked, "Well what if your great-great-grandfather had been a horse thief?"
I said, "Well then I would have been a democrat!"
