Also keep in mind that after dark in the mountains it can get pretty cool after the sun goes down. Plan accordingly!

Cades Cove is a nice little ride but I have seen them lined up out the freakin' gate for that one. It's a single lane/one way road and holy **** if some poor bear actually sticks his head out the whole thing comes to a halt while the tourists grab their cameras and go chasin after pictures!

Sounds like Jasper. Usually get exciting when they get too close.

Biggest black bear I ever saw was on the road to Cherokee NC out of Gatlinburg TN. Had to be a 400 pounder. Just standing there watchin the cars go by..
