The contractor doing our basement went to school with Beth so he is real friendly and respectful. Nice guy, hard worker. His Pop is helping, I think it is his Pop's business and he is taking over. Kinda neat if that is the case...our build is a passing of the torch of sorts.

It is hard to make out what is going on....the first 2 pics show it with no framing, then the others are the framing has progressed. We are expecting the framing ot be done tomorrow then the HVAC, plumbing and electrical as the week progresses with the "rough inspection" on Friday.

What's the difference between a dead hooker and an AK-47? I don't have an AK-47 in my basement.

Mark, are you installing a separate HVAC system for the basement or upgrading your current one?

Better make sure the eeelektrision puts them little caps on the wires when he is roughin in so the wires don't leak eeelektrisickles all over yer floor!!

Just adding vents for the basement. I think it will still be a damn sight colder down there even with the extra vents so maybe a space heater is in order for when we are down there.
