Doing OK. Got the in home health care all set up for him and he's been tolerating it so far. Since it's not considered end of life care insurance won't pay anything towards it though. The price tag for one week is $2800. I've been trying to talk him into renting a large house and living there with my family but he's not wanting to "bother anybody" as he puts it. I'd have him move into my place but it's to damn small.

A friend of mine is a palliative/hospice nurse. Yes, palliative care is very expensive.

Back from the HOA meeting. There will not be a club house but they did vote to pursue selling some of the open space to a developer and using that money for neighborhood improvements. They had enough proxy votes that we could have just stayed home.
