you might change your mind if you read the analysis of the new SG they built there - specific at fairewinds...way out of design compliance, and right on active fault - think fukushima...

with existing solar on 6 % of new mexico you can run the usa...cheaper than nuke. not that it will be done - (it's politics!) But do the math, do not take my word for it.

but yes, good jobs going away. pity. I did my share of nuke work back in the day. the money and the union were great. but nuke is a hellofaway to boil water (said Einstein).

It is now 11 AM and she has decided to take a quick trip to the market for a few items. No problem, we can ride in the BLINDING SUN AND SWELTERING HEAT....it will be great!
I thought this was S.O.P ... Isn't it the "How to a great wife" manual?

Roads have a lot to do with it.....I change mine when they're NEAR the weaer bar....figure I have to do it sooner or later, so why risk it.

There are risks! There are also safer designs as far as nuke plants. I'm wondering if someone else will pick up the contract and permits. The plant mostly serves LA. Lots of repercussions when it closes.
