Stan, I got almost 10k out of my last rear tire.

Now for the rant..."Honey, we talked about taking a ride this morning before it gets hot"
"I know, I just have a thing or two to do first"
"OK"

It is now 11 AM and she has decided to take a quick trip to the market for a few items. No problem, we can ride in the BLINDING SUN AND SWELTERING HEAT....it will be great!

Yup. Best mileage on rear is 10 k. Average is 8-9 on rear.

I've been told I make my softail look like a sportster when I ride it. Been told I need a bigger bike too. Sat on a Triumph Rocket and it felt perfect!

I'm with Al 6-7k it's cooked, had one that ended up with 3 spots where the belt was showing through at about 7k. Thought there was something stuck on my tire until closer inspection.

Just herd on the news our nuclear power plant is shutting down completely in 8 1/2 years! Boy that's gonna suck for all those high paid employees. Hard to find a job that will pay like that.
