Good morning Woods. Late check in today. I've been messing around outside where it's still nice and cool after a trip to McD's to visit with the farmer crowd.


Well after 5 years of hanging on to my old Samsung Android, I now have a new LG G5 smart phone. My first impression; man this thing is freakin' huge compared to my old phone. Old phone about 4.5 x 2.5 inches. New phone 6 x 3 inches.


Now I know that's still pretty small compared to what's out there right now, but how do you carry these things around? Pocket? Belt holster like I did with my old phone?

That might work! I have actually entertained the idea of wearing suspenders while riding for the extra comfort factor.


I don't want to carry it in my pocket and considering how stupid insurance is priced with my provider ($10 a month w/$200 deductible), I dang sure don't want to lose or break it!

I wear mine in my shirt pocket. Hate stuff in my pants pockets . On the bike I found a cool mount.

 

Fire was at 1200 acres last night. 4000 acres this morning. 5% contained. Even have fire tornadoes! Not looking good. Shut down a major freeway.

Since the phone was larger, I was thinking of getting one for my bike as well.
