Russ, the guy that spoke at the GD&T seminar was a guy named Mark Foster of Applied Geometrics. Very good speaker. Made a mundane subject interesting.

Evenin Woods! Had a good time at the Father Daughter dinner. Calling it a night, lookin forward to Hump Day

 

Well, got busy this afternoon and installed my Rockouts in the fuglybike. Guess it took about 3 hours start to finish of cleanup and back on the road.
Took it on about a 50 mile run after I got finished and honestly, didn't notice much difference if any at all. Still have the same noises and still hear an irritating tapping right around 2K-2200.
I'll give it another good run tomorrow.
Looked things over good while doing the install....only 1 of the 2 bolts on each cylinder had any evidence of shaft movement. The other 2 bolts looked untouched.
