I'm with Izzo on the 5.56. Never liked it. Just too light. Now an AR in 7.62x39 or (preferably) 51, that would be awesome and a more practical combat weapon. IMHO

For sure. But its good for plinking. Ammo is cheap and already have a 7 mm rem mag, .300 winchester mag and a 30-30 lever for the bigger guns.

Wow!..the fun just never ends..i just got the news of loss of another friend..they found her dead in her hot tub this morning..thats so fu--ed up! she was only in her 40's

.223/5.56 does make a good varmint round...
