I was in Las Vegas for a couple days once and when I landed it was almost 10pm and it was 115 degrees. It felt like someone had a blow dryer on full blast in your face.
The low humidity was the only thing that made it bearable. It was the first time in my life I had ever been anywhere the heat index was actually lower than the ambient temperature. Just don't see that here, too much water around.
