Not sure of the plans anymore. I'll take the kids to church and then see how Beth feels when we get home. Sure hate to miss a chance to smoke ribs. I like playing with fire, at least in the literal sense.

Morning, Russ, Al, Tracy and Lou.
Breakfast cooked for Bosslady. Next up: a round of golf on the local Par 3 course.

Morning all, for those who still have mothers around, happy mothers day.
For those sick, get well quick.

Helped the wife plant some bushes yesterday, went for a Kub and met some of the fishing club for supper with a bit more Kubbing after that.

Just a little bit stiff today, which I guess is better than having your stiff be little.

Reindeer (Brian) coming down later and were off Kubbing to Nelson Wisc for some BBQ.

Looks like our neighbors to the north are really getting hit by the fire, I hope the best for them and they hopefully can get back to life soon.

Anybody know if there's any kind of fund we can contribute to to help these people??

Rain for the next week so trying to get all the Kubbing I can in, our summers are to short as it is.

It has a sharp push. LOL

It was designed to punch through windshields at checkpoints in the middle east to stop car bombers. The .223 will just glance off. The .50 will punch through. My light load is 335 grain HP. I've also loaded 405gr. bullets and they have a bigger kick. I built it to go hog hunting in Texas, but haven't had a chance to do it. I also have an AR-15 in 6.8 SPC which is a real tack driver. Some people liken it to a .270 light. Probably my favorite AR right now.

Just built two AR-10s in .308 (uses a larger lower/upper etc.) One is mine and the other is for a buddy that wanted one for deer hunting.

Funny thing is, I don't own a single AR-15 in 5.56 Nato. I have no use for that little pea shooter. Heehee

Sounds like a beast izzo! What is the accuracy like with the shorter barrel? 1000 yards? Someday I want to get into ar's. All my friends are doing 80%ers in ar's and 1911's. Lost bids on mini 14's and mini 30's. Sure wood like to get into some kind of semi auto rifle.

The .50 Beowulf is an under 150 yard gun. It has ballistics about like a 45-70.

The 6.8 SPC is good out to 250-300 yards on deer size game.

Here's the .50 Beowulf:
