As afr as i know, there are no actual rules for cabin use. You yield to the ones coming from California out of respect for the distance and they really only use it 2 weekends and the week between them each year. Otherwise you just as k if you can have a few days to yourself and work out the dates. The succession aspect is something I have asked about a few times, not only to my wife but to her Mom as well. Because the Colorado family aren't close to the California part of the family that are co-owner that succession has never been revealed so that's another unknown. Gald to hear a few groups can co-owner in peace.

Good morning Woodmeisters!
You know yesterday when I was bitching about my wife forcing me on a shopping trip? Remind me to never bitch about that again. Early birthday present. Pellet smoker and Grill, should be a lot of fun.

Lots of cabins here in MN, lots of fights/bad blood over them when multiple owners are involved.
I wouldn't touch one with 2 owners much less 6.
You won't believe the shitstorm when one of them owners dies and the relatives get involved.

Good luck if you do.

Beautiful day in MN, off to do a bit of kubbing, I'll adjust valves tomm...maybe.

On the little lighter side..a girl in Nataly's Sunday School class pointed to the guy that dropped her off and said "That's my Dad, Uncle Drew". Hmmm...not sure what to say about that

Probably as little as possible, I'd think.

We get use of the cabin as it is, with a lil coordination and planning. Buying into it before she inherits a share was an out of blue question posed to me yesterday by Beth. I am trying to cautiously probe as to why she wants to buy in early and extra. Is it control? Preservation against someone outside the family from owning a piece? AND...how do we fund it? If I had a spare $20k laying around I'd find something more exciting and year round to enjoy...like an Ural!
You gotta be crazy to buy one of those!.... Actually you can find some really nice used ones for around $8k. Guy in the NW just sold a 2013 with less than 1,000 miles on it for $7,700. Even factoring in shipping costs, it would still be a steal.

Howdy. Back home. Bought the kid a new bike. Time to add a few more chores to his list. Mama is clearing out her old desk. Chaos I tell ya! Only thing I got accomplished was hanging the new hummingbird feeder. I broke the old one.

..JMO...ain't buyin into any real estate, vacation/leisure time property, hunting camp of any kind with ANYBODY.
99 times out of 100 it leads to nothing but family squabbles, bad feelings, and lost friendships.
Co-owned situations of any kind are best avoided.....especially when it is family involved.

Afternoon Woodrow's...

Pearl and I were at it yesterday. Sunburned my ***. Forgot sunscreen like a dumbass. I work outside, I know better. Hit Mick's town, but it was a quickie. Someday it will happen Mick. I don't get along well with OK State Troopers, but I was running 85 on I44 Southbound coming home, and he let me slide. Thanks Super Trooper.

May have been sunburned, but got me some tacos last night, hell yea.

Taking kiddos to the bounce house Tuesday, double hell yea.

Pearlsy and I are off again, storms are out West, gotta watch em.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend Woodrow's....
