In basic we had a guy that didn't like to shower. Got pretty ripe. He could stand his socks up next to his boots. So we grabbed him and tossed him in the shower, stripped him down and scrubbed him with the rough brushes we used to clean the floors and some pretty harsh soap. He bled in a few places. After that when he started to get a little foul, we just walked past his bunk with one of those brushes. He'd dash off to the showers like a shot.

 

I think we all had one of those guys Izzo!

 

My Pop (Vietnam Vet) recounted a story like that from his time in the Air Force. They don't let you habdle things that way anymore, or even when I was in back in the 90's. They would write you up with a "Counseling" report for the first few offenses.

 

By the way....I ain't riding behind anyone who doesn't shower at WS16. Helen can be the Man Sniffer to root out the ripe

Only time I don't shower is if I'm out hunting, even then I'll take a rag bath.
