I recently had 2 pair of shoelaces re-tipped so I am now on a strict budget.

A shoestring budget it sounds like. Can you name, without using a search engine, the name of those appliances?

I used to know but cannot recall at the moment. Google is my friend.

Aglet

By the way, Russ, do not use the word 'appliances' while Marcus is in attendance.

In order to cement the word into my vocabulary I will use the word in a sentence.

Please, Honey, it will be OK, I will just put the aglet in.

My appliance woes are on their way out. Fridge service call is scheduled for next week. Apparently a 3 week wait is normal. Other parts were ordered online. Now if we are talking about network appliances, that is out of my realm of specialty.
