Yes, the fan ties in to the hot side of rear brake light switch..
Problem lies with the cooler mounting to the regulator studs and the regulator being relocated to the top of the cooler.. Reg output wires were not long enough to reach up there... Cut all the zip ties all the way back and could not get the extra length I needed. Could not find any shortcuts to re-route it thru to make it work either..
Got a meter now, should be able to find the problem pretty quick....... I keep thinking I must have fried the Reg somehow, just because I've re-done the splices 3 times and the fuse is good. .. But it's only 2 wires and I taped one of them before I cut.. Reg and main fuse were both removed before hand.

Planning on installing a Jagg cooler this winter. Not sure I need it but some say they are mandatory with a bigger engine.

Did you cut the wires on the regulator side of the plug or the bike side?

Gents, I must confess I did a good deed yesterday:
A couple of motor cops were at the Starbucks next to the BBQ joint. So I went in there and bought them a couple gift cards. I tried to do it anonymously, but they figured it out and tracked me down.
FWIW.

Would maintaining proper ground to the frame after relocation play into this at all?

If I am understanding the question right, the bike side.. Cut the DC output wires( brake side with only 2 wires) and added about 6 inches.. I would have NEVA cut the stator wires!! I still think the cooler is a good idea. But obviously not a good idea for me to do it!!

G'mornin',again.......something going on next door to me with the "new" trenants who moved in about 9 months ago. Young couple ,unmarried, girl works, guy just stays in the house all day. I won't go into "racial profiling' but this kid is the laziest, stupidest, most moronic person I have ever met. He has an older Mercedes, been running on the donut spare for 6 months, keeps getting flats on his tires and when he does the car just sits with the flat for a few weeks.Actually saw him trying to do a brake job, by looking at his phone to see how to do it. Oh....it was almost dark, so he used the flashlight app to see what he was doing. Ultimately was able to change ONE brake pad on one side. Car must have broken down somewhere because it was missing for over a week.

He now has a new tire and his old rim...he's out there with a bottle of windex, no tools and is trying to manually put the tire on the rim!!!!!! You can't make this sh*t Up!!!

Maybe?? 2 wires I cut. 1 is ground, the other(hot) goes to main fuse.. Didn't pay attention to which was which, just taped one before I cut and cut thru the tape. Gonna check the output of the REG when I get home.. If that shows bad, I'll check the input(AC) side. If output is good, it has to be in the splices that I've done 3 times!!
