Damn ice maker in the fridge isn't making ice. Noticeable ice build in the top rear corner. Gonna unplug it for a bit to see if that helps. Otherwise we'll be using that protection plan we paid for.

 

Sometimes they'll freeze, but not very often. If it does, make sure everything is clear and working properly like the bin lever, no kinks in the supply line, etc.

 

I checked the bin sensors, bin and what I can see of the lines (only external). No abnormal sounds or anything but the reservoir where it makes the ice is empty and dry. Gonna try the unplugging thing for 2 hours. Not sure if it still happens with modern fridges, but the kids do tend to stand with the door open, which could allow moist air to collect then freeze. It was working fine Friday evening.

Anyhow...how were those cookies, Greg? Any idea what I am missing from my recipe?

Cookies were good. A higher quality vanilla would make them perfect.

 

Yeah, they weren't bad...just missing something. Maybe it is the vanilla. Damn "imitation" vanilla...got it from the Koreans at the Flea Market, they said it would be just like the real thing.
