As far as the text messaging goes, I have tried to work with my provider to figger out why I am receiving some and not others. I can send to Greg, but can't get one from him. Don't know what the deal is with it. I can send to and receive from Baker and others with no problem. I often keep the data portal closed, but it doesn't seem to matter whether it's on or off.
