I just looked and season starts on the 10th. That is really early. I think to avoid the full moon.

Stupid question, to avoid the full moon? The fish and wildlife guys worry about that in CO?

I believe they take it into consideration for a couple of the seasons.

Well, I think it's to give us a bit of a chance. I've hunted opening mornings during a full moon and I could walk to where I wanted to go through the forest without a flashlight at 4 A.M.
