TOAK- Thread Of All Knowledge- Part VI
Another I heartily recommend is Alan Parsons. Hs engineering on Dark Side of the Moon helped put PF up where they deserved to be and he is excellent in his own right.
You can hear the similarities in style on some of his solo works as well as his own Band the Alan Parsons Project.

Pretty sure my daughter was conceived with Dark Side of Moon on the turntable.
Old school here my friend in so many ways. I still have a lot of stuff from the 70's I listen to often.
Leslie Duncan Clark did the vocal solo on Great Gig in the Sky. That song sent me reeling the first time I heard it.
Don't want to pull a Hagger here so this is the last one...
Evenin Woods! Dinner and chores are done, jsut sitting and relaxing. Wife is watching CU vs CSU game and I am just fiddle fartin around
The story goes that when they brought Leslie in to sing she was given no lyrics and was asked "What do you think it would feel like to die?"
She took it from there..

I have about 20 PF records. Some of them are recorded concerts in Europe with the handbill taped to the cover. Also have one record that never made it to cassette or CD. Nocturnal Submission.
Some of their earlier albums like Animals and Atom Heart Mother were pretty much an acquired taste.
Nocturnal Submission is a new one even to me Lou. Most excellent! That's probably worth some cash!
