She: Oh, it will only take a few minutes.
One new bedroom set and two hours later I'm back home. I think paybacks for buying a new bike last year were finally cashed in. If Mama is happy, we are all happy.
Another valuable lesson for others on TOAK. Beware.
First off, do you get to use the new furnishings? Because of the purchase of the bike, you may be limited to the old ones in your own room.

Markus, maybe you want to talk to Stan about sending his old furnishings to you?

Well, you're not listening to some mindless BS. That's the way I look at it when I get it.

That is true. Some days you win, some days you lose.

Can't believe we are almost through August. It'll be Halloween before we know it and then onto the other holidays. My Pop is going to come up to visit in his RV around Thanksgiving and stay through Christmas. That ought to be fun. Gotta find a place for him set up camp where it is not too expensive. He doesn't want to intrude on us (which he wouldn't be) by staying with us or out in front of our house. That may also change by the time he gets up here. Sure hope I can petition the HOA Royalty for a variance so he can stay more than 72 consecutive hours in a 7 day period...a rule they just adopted

Evening, Ken.

Mark that would be nice if you could get a variance. Since you've been to a few meetings, maybe you have a feel for how draconian the board is before you go hat in hand.
