TOAK- Thread Of All Knowledge- Part VI
Al, I depend on solid advice from the TOAK and you have not disappointed. If I run out I will look at the local dispensary. If they're out I will gladly pay the freight from your place to mine in the event you can procure it locally.
They only deal in tail.
Al
Back from riding.
Took a frontage road next to I76 to see where it went. Well, it went to dirt/sand/gravel in the middle of grasshopper country. They was a-jumpin all over me. They may have been slutty grasshoppers as 3 of them were on my crotch when I looked down and thought about swatting them away then I looked up and saw I was veering towards the side of the road. At one point the road turned back to as[halt but the pot holes were so big it looked like it had been used as an artillery range. I swerved around one pot hole just to find another one that was bigger and it bounced me up off my seat. I could have made a Kingsford briquette into the Hope Diamond at that moment.
Ended up back on the interstate and rode it out to Wiggins then took hwy 34 back west, through Greeley (a.k.a. The cause of the smell) then back down through Johnstown/Miliken and finally home. Was a nice ride and just what I needed to clear my head and blow off some steam.
Mick, if you haven't done so please drink those beers now! Haven't you heard that old Catholic hymn "Sunday beer on a Monday is a sinny sin SIN!"

No, just tailights I believe.
Al, the LED bulbs from FuelMoto, DKCustom and others is a very worthwhile upgrade to your lighting needs. Lots more light for little money. Just not as focused.
Any turn signal lighting from Custom Dynamics is worth every penny as well.

Me: Honey, I'm going to Menards in the neighboring town to pick up supplies for a new Back Fence. Do you want to ride along?
She: Sure, if we have a few extra minutes there's something I want to check on.
Me: OK. As long as it doesn't take too long because I want to start the replacement fence project today.
She: Oh, it will only take a few minutes.
One new bedroom set and two hours later I'm back home. I think paybacks for buying a new bike last year were finally cashed in. If Mama is happy, we are all happy.
Another valuable lesson for others on TOAK. Beware.

Indeed! It's making her happy that is the hard part.
Het, Mark! Glad you came out of your escapade relatively unscathed. Beth wake up cranky again?
Stan, that's the price you gotta pay.
