She turned 36. I learned a long time ago not to make jokes about her. When I turned 36 I said she could trade me in on 2 - 18 year olds and she told me how gross that was because her boy cousins were that age. I haven't used that joke since

She is not big on Italian food. 
We were almost out of brown sugar so I tried to cut the recipe in half and the cookies did not come out as good as I hoped. Oh well, A for effort, right?
