Thanks Kub. Gotta make that run some time, you're not that far away in a beautiful part of the country. Love it up there by the big lake because I'm a flatlander.

Russ, believe it or not I'm thinking of a circular tour through Iowa for the Labor Day weekend. The Western edge of IA takes you through a long series of Missouri River Bluffs, and a scenic area called the Loess Hills. Also, the area south of Des Moines is very rolling and scenic (day 2) which you wouldn't expect in a state like Iowa. Day number 3 would simply be a hike back across flat land headed home.

The batwing is awesome for those LONG trips. Keeps you from being beat to death by the wind at the end of a 600 mile day!

Russ, all that stuff out in front of you on the Fugly is like having a curvy woman sitting right in your lap!

You need to run over to Dulute and then follow the shore around to me and then ride part of the circle tour !

I've done a fair amount of IA riding myself. While nice in certain parts, I've enjoyed western IL better. Galena is a nice area. Lots of bikers ride that area. Poopsys bar in savanna IL is an interesting stop as well.
