This P-38 was dug out of a hole in New Guinea that it and a bunch of other planes were dumped into at the end of the war.

 

Yes I read about that recovery.

 

Sorry I don't have more full ones of it. Not a whole lot of room to manuever. 3 other planes in there including a couple of Tigercats.

Me too, obviously. They have another we weren't allowed to take pics of undergoing a full rebuild as well. I do have a few more of this one. Damn things are huge.
