If you herd my drunk cowboy riding on the back of my bike story at WS16, this is the guy.

Ya'll be some downright funny fellers. Drunken cowboys, brain freezes, executive lunches....the TOAK.

Yep, Tracy, I was wondering if someone was gonna notice the Dahl/Cerf reference. Good job.

Decided to start bike BEFORE I put the rest of the crap on, runs fine, no FC so far, will take it out for a spin and see what happens.

Being the glutton for punishment I am, in a delirious moment I said yes to a buddy who has a Holley carb from the 60's that the accelerator circuit plates are not sealing and he asked if I can mill the flat and smooth again, I said sure, no hurry right?

Nope, no hurry but btw the carb is no longer made and available, also it's going on a numbers matching car.

I handed it back to him and said go find someone else, he says no one else will do it, and if it doesn't work, so be it, I had him repeat that three times to make sure what he's getting into.

Somebody shoot me.

And of course it won't fit in my vise and trying to clamp it down is gonna be interesting.

Have to admit, I enjoy the challenge though, swearing included.

Prayers to a local rider, nickname Beergarden, he lives on the hill across from me. He went down Tuesday evening, in a coma in the hospital...

Very sorry to hear about your neighbor Ken. Hoping for the best for him!

Mick, I'll admit that although the names rang a bell, I had to do a bit of searching to put it together.
