Yes Mark, people are that dumb!!!
Several years back one of the local TV stations got a new Doppler radar system and when it rained, people called the TV station bitched because they believed the station could now control the weather and why would the station allow rain on the weekend. True story.

Bummer...there was a fire at Beth's family cabin in Estes park. All are safe but there was some damage to one of the rooms. Not sure how bad and not sure if that means any work that needs to be done is covered by insurance and if the cabin will need to be brought up to newer code. This cabin was built in 1913 and was only improved upon little by little by the previous generations. I doubt anything was done with a permit, especially anything in the last 30 years

I back everything up to an external drive, a thumb drive and to my Linux server. That way in the event of a catastrophic problem something is sure to survive and be recoverable

Waiting to hear the full details. Beth got a text from her sister with just the details I shared. I might have to make a trip up there to help move stuff instead of going to the farm for cleanup. It really depends on the damage and what needs to be salvaged/moved, if anything.
