TOAK- Thread Of All Knowledge- Part VI
Mark, i see you talk about all the things you do with your kids, and that's what most kids in this world are missing, someone to guide them, and the lack of that is what brings them to such a lazy life. i have no doubt your kids are on the right track
I try, Dan. It is harder than you think working from home. I am an hourly employee and have to at least be available for my 8 hours a day. So I can't do stuff with the kids all through the day so they do end up watching TV or playing on their tablets (kid's ones). If I am not busy I can play board games or play outside with them. I take Benjamin to his therapy appointments on Wednesdays on the back of the bike so we get that male bonding there, and I take him to the HD dealership now and then, let him "help" me in the garage working on stuff. I just hope my influence is strong enough for them to have a good compass growing up and not fall into the traps of the lazy and whiny kids theya re sure to meet in school
Do I owe NN penance? Not sure what i can find while on the network here at work.
Dave, stay strong, brother. I know from experience it is a very tough, depressing situation that doesn't seem to have an end. Your Dad and your God know what you're going through and I'm sure both are grateful.
