TOAK- Thread Of All Knowledge- Part VI
Jesse James, those guys and biker build off brought bikes out into the light for a lot of people. a lot of people watched the shows. kinda like obama, someone voted for him but no one will admit to it
i rode to the big shop, te production bikes were nice, but te others on the floor looked good from a far but not up close
Mine neither..but...I was at OCC a few years ago and looked at some of the bikes they built. Wasn't crazy about the style but the level of detail and craftsmanship was outstanding. Bikes were in a roped off static display, but you could get 5 or 6 ft from them. Don't know how functional they were, but have to give them credit for detail. Place was packed with people buying Tshirts and OCC crap.
We still have one of JJ's West Coast chopper bikes sitting in our lobby.
The show got to be stale and predictable. The only reason I kept watching was to see the other guys that did the welding and fabrication with the cool machines they had. They were all a bunch of drama queens.
Mornin' all.
No matter what Jr builds it will be a pile of crap.
He should go back to designing BBQ's, no wait, he screwed that up too.
Not a fan of bikes you can only ride to a Starbucks if it's less than 10 miles away.
Some of the older stuff that they built before they because infamous didn't look bad though, I think they were probably built by the old man though.
Top end on my bikes, that would be the drag bikes, 155+ in the quarter, did ride a turbo's Hayabusa and ran pretty close to top end, to busy watching the road to see what I was doing though.
Riding that fast on public roads is a disaster coming soon.
Hot, humid and rain on and off today, no kubbing but meeting some friends for lunch, slow day today.
Been watching the Olympics, it's amazing what them people can do.

Mornin Al! I get tired just watching the swimming. I can't even turn around in the shower without getting winded.
Is your shower experience akin to the caber toss in the highland games, Marcus?
He has talent, built rideable hardtails. hell, look at the guns he makes
The Netherlands has good women's volleyball team, not sure what their record is but they sure look good.
