I tell you, this whole trip has been a bit of a clusterf**k. Organized very poorly by my co-worker, a regional manager, this dude from North Dakota doesn't have a clue. Al met him today. We are in seperate divisions reporting to the National Sales Manager and to give you an idea about this guy, he's been introducing himself to some of our dealer's staff as my boss. I don't know where that comes from or what his deal is but it's not cool. If it happens again I'm going to call him on it but I typically don't have time to sweat the small stuff with clueless people. Long time before I agree to work a show with him again.

I dunno Stan, he sounds as if he's trying to be the big kid on the block but doesn't realize that when he tells those stories it undermines your ability to land a sale. As far as trip arranging, give him my number and I'll tell him how it's done. I can reserve the yellow sheet suite for him!

 

Frustrating but not that big a deal really....my dealers know me for who I am. I've had opportunities to work on a national scale in my last 3 positions with some savvy. This guy hadn't been out of ND much until recently. That's where it stems from.
