Yup it's no wonder they came loose and prolly had some popping on decel from reversion sucking cold air in the crack! They look great on your bike, and your bike looks just like mine now which just goes ta show ya great minds think alike LOL.
Every winter I wipe em down with a oily rag when I store em and then windex em before I ride in the spring...Michigan uses salt on the roads so ya can't be too careful.Oh I only use factory clamps and put anti- sieze on the threads of the torca bolt. The factory clamps are a little wider.Dose pipes be rumbly....at low speeds around the hood but wait till ya hit an entrance ramp. I packed em with real stainless steel steel wool so no rust inside eeder...(GRIN)!

Doug totaled his Electra Glide 5 weeks ago. He's recovering from some nasty wounds, including his ankle. So yeah, he's wearing sandals with socks. He's lucky to be alive. Bitch turned left in front of him.
As to the wife, news has not been good. They said the chemo drug is not working, and they only have 2 more they can try. They feel the chemo may make one or more of her needed organs shut down soon. We've been told to contact palliative care and get ready for the pain and eventual end. Hard to even type this.
