TOAK- Thread Of All Knowledge- Part VI
Hey PaPa check your PMs! Morning Woodsies. Twisted my ankle yesterday so spent the rest of the day icing it but it aggravated the back. Man those stabing pains can tire ya out but hey. Onward and upward through the fog!
More rain. Stupid weather guy said clearing and sunshine.
I need to either mow my yard or just wait a couple more weeks and bale it...
Land business was a total flop Tim, and I am tired of messing with the old bastard. He was going to donate the land to a church group a couple years back. They were going to build a big new church there but couldn't raise the capital to pull it off.
He doesn't need the money one teeny bit and I think he has just been yanking my chain for a while now. He can stick it where the sun don't shine. I already have a couple other prospects I'm looking at.
So anyway...
How you doing?

Yeah moving a little slower but working myself back into shape. Really bummed I missed the party and don. plan on missing another. Hoow did the bike run? These E- Glides are the bomb aint they?
Got the PM, Randy. Thanks! Now I am waiting like a dog at the window waiting for its owner and every time a dump truck or other heavy equipment comes by I get excited, then disappointed. Hahahaha. Not that I would ever abuse the work from home privilege I have but I do plan on putting my Tuesday morning 1100 Cadence Call on speaker phone and mounting them slip ons, if they are here by then.
Would have been fun to have you there buddy. Looking forward to seeing you at the next one
Comfort wise, the FLH line is the best Harley has to offer that's for sure. A good seat and I can comfortably pull a 600 mile day.
Ol' Blue ran just fine until we got up in the mountains. A lot of 4th gear in terrain where I would have normally been cruising in 5th. But I was suckin' wind too!
Took me a few days to get used to the change in altitude. Hell I was getting winded walking down the hallway..
Once a week. Mostly to physically check on the servers in the data center. But I do get a lot more done on that one day than I do the other 4 days at home
