had an offender follow me on my bike from walmart back to my mothers house, thought it was someone i knew, he was flashing his lights and honking the horn. i knew him alright
Per capita we have the most sex offenders in the county. The community usually run them out of town. Makes me watch my kid super close in town till he's older. Sad. I ran wild with no fear when I was younger. Latch key kid and all.

Me too..both parents worked, so sister and I both had our own house keys and would walk home with friends or alone and let ourselves in. Cooked our own food or dinner for the whole family some times.
the unfortunate part of working in prison is that i see a lot of these guys on the outside at general places like walmart. i know this one cause he would ask me a lot of questions while down in medical. but he's not supposed to be following me or talking to me on the street. i know he was doing it in a sort of friendly way, but this guy is NUTS. never thought i had a real reasn to arm myself till now.

Do you work at an actual penitentiary, or a county jail?
i work in the parole section, over 400 inmates, level 4, but also go across the parkinglot to the level 5 facility. but i'm in direct contact with all the inmates at all times in medical or when i'm in the hall ways

Your answer didn't really answer my question because I don't know what the level's mean. But I have been to both, oh and work release too. And yep, parole, too.
