I don't think I have ever fired mine with the laser operating. I agree with Al, if ever I have to use it the last thing I wanna do is be worried about looking for a dot.
Have a few Glocks around the house. Gave my wife the following instruction if she ever had to defend herself ..." grab it with two hands ,point it at whoever and keep pulling the trigger until it doesn't go BANG anymore". Any need for self defense is going to be at relatively close range, that's all you need to know... KISS!
A few of the guys in here will remember the old TV detective shows like Manning and Cannon......guy shooting at them from a distance with a scoped rifle, the good guys roll behind a rock or car and come up with their .38 Snubnose, double action three shots and the bad guy falls off the cliff or building....all you needed then was a .38...buahahahha

And, or, if you ever had to use it and the battery was dead. But it does look cool in the movies!!

My kid said it's very intimidating. said "Dad,you should see the look ona guys face when he looks down and sees a bunch of lasers bouncing around on his chest"
got some pics uploaded from my trip south to have a few issues with the Ultra fixed. here was the cause of my inner primary seal leak...turns out it wasn't the seal itself, but the race was cracked. when we pulled the inner primary off, the race came off the shaft with it. no more tears
