Thank god the T-shirts weren't in dere!!!!
Ours is an 01. Best vehicle ever owned! 215 k on it. Runs like a top. Burns 1 quart of oil every 8000 miles. Well within tolerance. Should get 20 mpg pulling the bike to WS16. Hard to beat that.

Rather it look like a checkerboard and be able to ride than its usual sexy self and not be able to ride.
is that a Michelin Commander Greg? I've heard they are a great hi mileage tire, only knock being poor on the wet and tar snakes. any thoughts or experience on that?
reason I'm asking is that a Canadian site sells tires way cheaper than any dealers I've come across, with free shipping to boot. when I come up with a good tire, I'm buying a few so that I don't get caught like this again. I found the ME888 for over a hundred dollars cheaper than the one I had to buy on the road at the mercy of an indy mechanic shop.

Ouch! Glad all is good! One reason I leave my trailer ball in my hitch.
thank you sir. I had the choice to go with another cobra or the 888 from the indy guy's stock. couldn't go wrong trying the metzeler IMO
