TOAK- Thread Of All Knowledge- Part VI
Oooof! I've got close to 10,000 on a MCII but I don't ride a bagger. In fact, I will probably change it out due to age before I wear it out. I've seen good things about Elite 3. I've also seen in here that the Avon Cobra are nice and sticky but don't last very long. The 888 should last a bit longer as well.
reason I'm asking is that a Canadian site sells tires way cheaper than any dealers I've come across, with free shipping to boot. when I come up with a good tire, I'm buying a few so that I don't get caught like this again. I found the ME888 for over a hundred dollars cheaper than the one I had to buy on the road at the mercy of an indy mechanic shop.

louis..i saw that you mentioned a 4runner..we bought a 1985 4runner ..i was 8 1/2 months pregnant thought it was better choice than the truck we had planned on for baby..in all my years its easily in the top 3 best vehicles ive ever owned!!!
I was running the rear at 42 and the front at 38. I'm thinking that my yukon trip must have really kicked the **** outta that cobra, temps were in the 90's up there on not so great pavement, and the stuff that was good was chip sealed.
