TOAK- Thread Of All Knowledge- Part VI
Russ, today it was just about everything. Trouble off the tee, which leads to scrambling from bad places, which leads to unmakeable putts. I was just really off all the way around. I have to admit I'm in-between swings and that isn't helping.
One of my rooms is having a picnic tomorrow on the other side of town I hope to kub to.
Sounds like some time at the driving range is in order. When I played regularly, I would hit the range 5 days a week and play golf the other two. Had my handicap down to a 7 on USGA scale. I'd be lucky to break under 90 on a regulation sized course now. Too many maladies I would have to compensate for.
Gotta do a real good leak check.
I'm at the range 2-3 times a week. I've had a few lessons recently and it just hasn't locked in yet, hence my comment about being in-between. I'm not expecting PGA level of play, just hoping to break 85 on a regular basis this summer. I'm happy with giving myself a chance, if you know what I mean.
Yup.
If I have to chip on to the green on a par 4 and am putting for par and end up with bogey, I'm ok with that. Really. At least I've been in position to give myself a chance. Make sense? And I've been there. A lot in the past.

Chip closer.....
