Looked at some new bikes today at the HD dealer while shoe shopping with the missus. Also looked at some next door at the Indian dealer. Gotta admit, I kinda like the "Scout". The fuglies didn't do a thing for me....

Greg, I think the biggest take away from my test ride today was how smooth everything felt. Just like a new bike (or car/truck/silicone implants) should feel. Not that mine is kludgy or anything, but you can tell the refinements that have occurred in the last 13 years. I still love "The Lil 88 That Could" and like you have said, if/when I get a new bike I would keep my current bike as well

I'm sure it was nice. Was it a Special?

The Indians just don't do it for me. The engine on the Scout has a weird look to it, cannot describe it but closest I can get is that it looks fake. Like it is a mock up in place til they get the real engine in there. I know it's not, but that is as close as I can come to describing what stands out to me about it. The other models just doesn't move my furniture in any way

Not a fan of the Indian fairings or Victory Fairings. I agree Markus, the motor on the Scout looks like plastic.

I agree, Mark. Besides the name, something just isn't "right" about it. Certainly the shock layout can't be very effective or efficient. Then there's that fender. Ooooof!

Caution??? I'm sure it's for the infamous "debris."

Hey, Tim!
